Personality: Conrad wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... The war was a terrible time for him, and Conrad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Jane abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
