History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

History: Born to a Mercenary, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.
