History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hadwisa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This eastern man is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. His clothes are grease stained in places. His white hair is knotted and matted. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Ernest began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
