History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Helen took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Helen never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Don was born the youngest of three triplets. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
