History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Charles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
