History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Gilbert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Heward embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He got into the Navigator business at a young age. Through the years after Heward was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Heward's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
