Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aldous wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Aldous is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Beatrice learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Dilettante like her mother before her.
