History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She married young, but lost her spouse to gnolls. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Emeny was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Matilda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her youth she was a Bookbinder, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
