Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'6" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. Her hair is white and very short. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Adelaide was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelaide fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cartwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
