After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Peter was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and seeks redemption

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
