He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He has worked as a Laborer like his mother before him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
