History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. After a long history of fighting, Katherine and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Solomon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
