History: He was born in the south. Bernard was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Mary was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.
