History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
