History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balimaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Balimaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Priest but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Priest work with an outfit from a few towns over. Priest work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
