Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cecily grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cecily. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Odo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Healer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Odo and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
