History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Melissa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Melissa's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants her loneliness to end
