History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Arnold was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
