History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: 5'8" and muscular, this northern woman wears a black coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. Her hair is silver and very short. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in glaive use. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she desires power and/or immortality

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
