History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Melissa reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A 6'6" western man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His golden hair is long and unkept. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a great chef.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He has a missing right arm. He is typically in his Sage uniform. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Roger wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a great chef.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Roger was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sage. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and further expansion of business

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears long strands of amethyst and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and is pretty ugly. Her silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She takes great joy in being the best Fisher in town.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She then took over the family business and is one of the better Fisher for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to get a good night's sleep
