Personality: Mary hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has never given up on her writing dream.
