Description: An older woman who is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants, she is not a threatening figure. Her black hair is smooth and relatively long. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Fletcher, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Joan never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
