History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Ernest has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Rosalind speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Gardener profession.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and expand her business

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
