History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the left. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is long and chestnut with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small blue clips. Her green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Juliana was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to raise her children well

Description: This man stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Trey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
