History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: She stands about 4'8" and wears suspenders and red workpants. Her shirt is brown, and she wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time. Her right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
