History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Sarah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting drow, the young Juliana began to lead the lost caravan. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

History: Hadwisa was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
