History: Avelina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and regain custody of her daughter
