Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She tends to her Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To be a Detective again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: Joan is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things
