Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Conrad took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
