Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His skin is also unnaturally pale. His brown hair is cut short. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
