He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Giselle grew up listening to her father's many stories. She worked as a nervous Tailor and found it very stressful. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Unemployed business.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has money and likes to spend it
