History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second son.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with her Stableman father left her crippled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. After a long history of fighting, Jane and her spouse have recently divorced.
