Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Knight. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by his family
