Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Map Maker who has hired her part-time. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born in the east. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Beggar. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and to settle down with her crush

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
