History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by her family

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
