Personality: He is happy with his job as a Marshal. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up work as a Marshal and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age her father died while driving off some brigands. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in pickaxe use. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.
