A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Miles was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Adelaide was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
