Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is long and black with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: Kody hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Kody was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'10" when asserting herself. She has a very tight haircut. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. A true patriot, Hugolina would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Hugolina liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'7" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a red collared shirt and white skirt. She accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her golden hair is still thick. She has a dull look in her amber eyes.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
