Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lewis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
