History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Maynild grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She has a very tight haircut. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Hugolina hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: She got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
