History: She was born in the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Masseuse and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down
