History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ida is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
