History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Kody learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born in the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
