History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born in the south to a Courier, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Alex liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has worked as a Courier like his father before him.
