He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. The war was a terrible time for her, and Rosalind does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To be a Blacksmith again; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
