Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Everard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: She is lean but muscular and prefers to wear yellow clothing when she does not wear armor. Her red hair is braided into rings. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emma grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emma. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: An older man who wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is greedy
