Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Diggory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Diggory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Diggory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
