History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Hubert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to reunite with his absent mother
