Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die.
