History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her father's many stories. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
